- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Don't go there. Firstly they charge twice as much for the dog heartworm test than anywhere else. When you inquire about the pricing over the phone - they provide you with the examination cost and the 2 immunizations for rabies and DA2PP - then when you're there, the doctor tacks on a whole bunch of tests without even asking if you want those tests. When you get the bill it's twice as much than you were quoted. Apparently from other vets the heartworm test can be avoided the second year as long as the dog is taking the prevention medication. My dog was taking the prevention medication Revolution. This vet didn't even offer that to me. All for the money.by jessica chathamOctober 27, 2017
